DASA presents a speaker panel based on Data Governance & Compliance and the speakers consists of:

Anteneh Ayanso, PhD 

Anteneh Ayanso holds PhD in Information Systems from the University of Connecticut, MBA in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Syracuse University, and BA in Business Management and Accounting from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He teaches Business Analytics, Database Design and Management, Data Mining Techniques & Applications and Management of IS/IT. Previously, he taught at the University of Connecticut in the U.S.A. and Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. Dr. Ayanso received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, Graduate Professor of the Year, and Departmental Researcher of the Year Award from the Goodman School of Business, as well as a Fulbright Scholarship. He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Beta Delta.

Mitu Mann

As Chief Data Officer (Phoenix IT)  and consultant  Data Governance Lead at GoEasy, Mitu has over 15 years experience in the Data Governance and Privacy Industry. She has been leading Data Governance, Privacy, Security and Strategic Technology builds across industries  such as Telecommunication, Media, Retail and Finance. She has a background in providing insight on data management, security and privacy of data, leading numerous strategic initiative builds in the past at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Rogers, LCBO and presently GoEasy.

James Smith

As Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Environics Analytics, James Smith focuses on corporate privacy, security, auditing, data governance and compliance requirements. James brings to the position both business expertise and a strategic understanding of technology, data, and analytics.

Phoenix Majumder

Phoenix Majumder is a Senior Technology Leader and Platform Head - Data engineering, data science and BI at Rogers Communications. He is an accomplished Data and Analytics leader, who has delivered progressive solutions for informed business decisions. He is adept in the execution of a broad spectrum of analytics capabilities that spreads across concept building to production-grade implementations. Proficient in explaining complex analytical outcomes to a diverse audience, he has played leadership roles in the delivery of Data and Analytics technologies for leading entities in the Financial Services, Telecommunications and Public sector.
